10/16/07 0 Commentsfixer or breaker?
You know how some people have a knack for fixing things and others for breaking? Well, I'm the latter...I'm just not (as my hubby puts it) mechanically inclined. Well, where would the fixers be without us? he he Today at work, after having been there about 15 minutes, I jammed the paper on a machine. Now I am at home and I jammed the paper in my printer...yeah, I yanked & pulled, and reloaded, but no luck...anyways, I was surprised to see that tonights episode, although good, is a rerun. I haven't watched in about 3 weeks and I think I'm having Mindfreak withdrawl...so I may be tuning in. Those of you who will be in Vegas during MF4 must tell us about it! I hope to attend a taping someday... Catch ya later ..(Has anybody seen if Criss has been on lately?)

I love Fridays...why? because I'm off of work! woo hoo! I woke up this morning and it was 52 outside! I love it! It's been so blasted hot for soooo long. So, I opened up some windows to air the place out. It's 10:30 now and only 62. I think its supposed to be cool through the weekend. Yeah! My hubby said we could go to the movies tonight so I gotta see whats playing. Sunday, I may go to the football game, not sure yet. I don't usually go to many games cause its like this: so & so is running, passes ball, so & so down, fumble...and I'm like huh? It happens too quick, and I can't tell who's who esp. when the uniforms are similiar. Sad huh? Hope you all have an exciting weekend. Keep on freakin' on...Here's a quote I like: "you can give without love, but you can't love without giving."--author unknown

10/8/07 1 CommentBack to the real world
Hey all! Tomorrow its back to work for me . I have really enjoyed my time off, but man did it go quick! Yes, its time for reality to kick back in, but it sure was fun while it lasted. I actually feel a little bummed, almost like a Vegas withdrawl...anyone else ever felt that? I guess it was all the excitement, meeting Criss, etc. I do have some nice pics that I have downloaded to my computer, however, I am not a whiz at this stuff(yet) and I have to figure out how to post it here. I tried earlier and it has left me frustrated. Anyway, I am curious to know something....is the Loyalfest in Dec. the Fan Club one or the one that loyals hosted? I actually have that week off....but, its such a long ways away...(I am curious though.) Well, I hope some of you had today off and that you enjoyed it! I sat on my back porch for a while working on So Doku puzzles while my dogs were rolling around in the grass. It was so nice, there was a bit of a breeze and it was relaxing. Well, I've got a few things to do so I better quit so this doesn't look like my last blog! :) Here's a quote for today: " Where love is thick, faults are thin"--author unknkown.

10/6/07 8 CommentsVegas--my wish came true!
Hi everyone! I just got back from Vegas late last night and what a wonderful trip it was! We arrived Sunday 9/30 around 1:30 and checked into our room at the Luxor. It was a regular room in the pyramid and quite nice I might add. The Luxor is huge! We just hung out Sunday, checked out the Mindfreak Store and Production Office and listened to a band in Mandalay Bay. Monday we went to The Secret Garden. It was hot and all of the tigers were sleeping. There is a 3 month old dolphin in a pool with its mother and it was really cool to see them playing. We watched them for a little while and took pics. Then we went to the Titanic exhibition. It was very interesting to see the things that have been recovered. Unfortunately you cannot take pics there and there are no brochures, so it is an experience that will hopefully stay in my mind. Got back to the Luxor and found out Criss had been there signing autographs. I was so disappointed that I had missed him. Tuesday we went back to the area where the Mindfreak store is and hung out for a while. I bought some stuff, a mug, bookmarks, and tee shirt. A bit later we see these 3 people coming up the escalator. I glanced over but didn't really think anything of it. (Criss was in the middle and I couldn't see him) Then as they went around the corner, this kid yells "It's him," and he runs into the store. The store filled up quickly and we formed a line to see him, but he had gone into the back room. We were told to come into the store so as not to draw a huge crowd. It was funny cause you could see the door open a couple of times, and then finally Criss came out! I was 3rd in line, and hoping like hell I could meet him. He signed a deck of cards for the 2 people ahead of me. I was holding my shirt (a white one) I had bought earlier. He asked me if I had just gotten it and I told him a little while ago. He said "Do you have a bag," and I told him my husband had it. He asked me if I wanted him to sign it and I said yes. While he signed it, he told the group of people mine was the last because he had to leave. The lady behind me had a shirt too and she asked him to sign it and being the nice guy he is, he did. Then, he walked right past me and thanked evryone for being fans and watching the show, and then poof he went back down the escalator and was gone. He wasn't there for more than 10 minutes max, so I felt very lucky! My heart was beating so fast and my hubby said I seemed calm, but after I got out of the store, my excitement was all over my face, I'm sure! Tuesday night we went to Craft Steakhouse in MGM and then saw "KA." (Cirque du Soileil show) and it was great. Tuesday was probably the best day of all there! The next day we went to the Venetian, had lunch, walked around, and rode the bus to Freemont Street. It was daytime tho so nothing was really going on. When we got back to the Luxor, I found out Criss had been there again! I told my hubby I was grateful for having seen him the day before but I had hoped for a pic. So we left, changed for dinner, and went to see the comedian Lewis Black. It was a good show. Thursday we went souvenir shopping. Then around 6:00, my hubby went to get some cash and I said I was going to go to the store and check it out.(Criss watch, ha ha) I got to the store and there were a bunch of people there. I found out that Criss was there, he was in the back room. They said there would be a 30 minute signing, so I got in line. But darn, no camera, it was in the room! So when my hubby gets there I tell him about the camera and he hauls back to get it. He gets back in a flash! (Thank goodness the elevators were actually quick that time!). Then he tells me the battery light is coming on! Well, when its my turn I walked up to Criss and shook his hand. I took out the Ace of Spades card for him to sign. I told him I was an ultimate freak and showed him my fanclub card and he signed it! He said it out loud and seemed genuinely happy about it and thanked me for my support. Then he signed the card, then asked me if I wanted a pic and I said "yes please." So my hubby took pic and with the battery low I wasn't sure if it would work, but it did! Then he shook my hand and thanked me for my support again. This 2nd time was nice because he wasn't in a rush like the 1st time. So, now I have a signed tee shirt, fan club card, Ace of Spades card and a pic! I am just so thankful my wish came true! I think because they were in pre-production helped . Btw, I had to buy another white shirt cause I said I didn't think I could actually wear the other one!! Good luck to everyone else, I hope you too get to meet him. It's something I'll never forget. Believe! And, thanks Criss for taking the time to make this loyal very happy! XX00 Pics soon to come!

9/28/07 2 CommentsVacation!
Today was my first day of vacation, ahhhh. Know what I did? Not a whole lot of anything and I enjoyed every minute of it. I do need to jump on the bandwagon tommorrow though because Sunday is...leave for Vegas day! Yep, the ole mind is going into vacation mode...relax, no worries, ya know what I mean. Last night we went with 2 other couples to the Comedy Zone. I love to go there! It was a 2 guy act, and they sing and tell jokes and oh my gosh! My hubby said he hadn't heard me laugh that hard in a while. They were just too funny! Their names are John Joseph and Johnny B. They've been on HBO and a few other shows. If you get a chance to see them, go, you won't regret it! Hope everybody has a nice weekend. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that maybe I'll run into you know who while in Vegas. crosses fingers. Later... :)
