9/26/07 1 CommentThe kid in Criss
Hey everybody! I missed last nights show, but had recorded it. I watched it today and I thought it was really a great episode. I think one of the things I liked the most was that you could really see how he enjoyed being with those kids. I mean the sincerity of it was written all over his face( and in his voice too). What a wonderful thing to do! "Criss-mas and the no smoking . Kids will listen especially when it comes from someone they admire. It just goes to show that one person can make a diffference. Criss is the Mindfreak...with a big heart! Bless you Criss, for giving back and all you do.

9/24/07 2 Comments10...9...8...7...6 more days till Vegas!!
Next week by this time I'll be in Vegas! :) My hubby said the time there will go really fast and I said I know but hey, I haven't even gone yet..I don't want to think about that!! I also told him that if I found out there was going to be a signing, we'd simply have to change our flight plans cause there is no way in hell I can be that close and then not meet him! He nodded his head because he knows there's no sense in opposing it! (smart man!) Now I can't do that because of the Hilton B-day bash, I'm talking something up close & personal! hee hee We've got some cool things planned, Cirque show KA, a comedian, Body English( on the guest list anyway) and hopefully we'll get into LAX. Thanks to a tip from some fellow loyals I am going to shoot for Weds. night instead of Thurs. I also want to check out The Secret Garden that Criss spoke of. My hubby's mom used to work at a hotel on Fremont St. so I'm sure we'll be checking that out too. It's been 5 years since my last trip out there and I've heard alot has changed ( and what doesn't?) Here I am rambling on & on , so can ya tell I'm just a wee bit excited? ha ha This past weekend I had a strong desire to write something so I started writing a fictional short story. I started typing and the words for the most part just flowed out. Sometimes I feel this way and then after I have written something it is almost like a release. Does that make any sense? I am not finished with it and quite honestly I don't know what I'll do with it when I do finish. I have a folder of mostly poems I've written throughout the years, so it may go in there. Anyways, this is turning out to be a short story in itself! Make it a good one and as I always say, keep on freakin' on....

Ok, I don't know how many of you this pertains to, but it certainly does to me. Here goes: Why do guys always have the remote? I'll ask whats on and these images are flashing so quickly I can't make heads or tails of it, let alone see if its something I want to watch. Then somehow, it ends up being something like football, home repair, or(and this takes the cake) programs about PAST football seasons from eons ago... (Ummm, how about a little Home shopping channels, yeah thats the ticket, ha ha)
If you ask hubby to do a repair and he doesn't and you start on it, what would you do if you're told not to do it and not to hire someone to do it? I'm still waiting on him...
Actually going back to reread this, its humorous really. My personal philsophy is this: Anytime you live with ANYONE there will be differences. Compromise is key, and yes I've been married a long time! But, heck yeah, still send your opinion if you wish... Have a wonderful day, laugh alot and keep on freakin' on....

Hey loyals! I was just thinking (thats a dangerous thing ha ha) about what it must be like to be a celebrity. People in your face all the time, snapping photos, following your every move. I don't think I could stand it cause I'm somewhat of a private person. I think after a while I'd get mad and then I'd be a nasty foul-mouthed woman trying to get these people off my back.. Then there's the nasty stuff in the tabloids...well, sex sells and so does dirt and I think most of it is B.S. and for what, the almighty dollar? I don't waste my money on such stuff. So, I'm glad that Criss has the attitude that he doesn't care what people think or say about him. But he'll always know the one true thing is that his loyals are just that... loyal. Some more quotes I like:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. - American poet Robert Frost (1875-1963)
The direst foe of courage is the fear itself, not the object of it, and the man who can overcome his own terror is a hero and more. - -- George MacDonald
Enjoy your day and keep on freakin' on....

Well, do ya'll remember that song by America? I always liked it and it was on the radio yesterday. When I heard the part " When you hypnotize with your eyes..."I thought of Criss. Now the songs stuck in my head. Don't ya love when that happens? Or someone will sing something and then you have THAT song in your head......Well, I am starting the coundown to Vegas now. Another 2 + weeks and I'll be there! I was so hoping that MF4 would be taping then but now it looks like later in October :( Well we had to pick Vacation time back in January and I really can't change it now....I, like everyone else, would just like the chance to meet him. Perhaps he'll be around, so wish me luck! We do have a Cirque show planned and a comedian show too, so I know it'll be a fun trip. I want to check out the Secret Garden too. On another note, I really enjoyed watching the Loyal show the other night. It was so cool that Criss made it one of his shows! He truelly seems to appreciate his fans. I'm sure it was difficult to have to edit it, but a necessary thing because of the time restriction. Again congrats to all the winners! Well have a good one and keep on freakin' on....
